st. nicholas letter

This year was the first year that Ashlyn and Caleb sent letters to Santa. They were drawings of what they wanted for Christmas. Mom and Dad forgot to scan them before they were sent off in the mail, but Ashlyn's picture was of her on skis and Caleb's had him sitting in a snowfall (with a little help from Dad).

In the grand tradition of Tolkien, they received their first letter back from St. Nicholas on Christmas Eve:
